With the amount of Android handsets already confirmed and/or rumored to launch before the end of the year, you would think that there is already an Android handset for almost any person's taste, but it seems that HTC is planning another round of smartphones to sate the ever growing smartphone user crowd. AndroidGuys is reporting that they received a tip revealing four new HTC codenames.

AndroidGuys wrote that a message in their inbox included the codenames "HTC Speedy, HTC Blitz (CDMA), HTC Mecha, and HTC Spade. At this point, none of them have release dates or time frames associated with them" or hardware specs for that matter. We don't even know for sure how many of these phones are Android based.

Phandroid notes that "it’s amusing to realize HTC possibly has way too many phones to put a unique name to each and every one as their codenames begin to get crazier and whackier."

AndroidandMe echoed my thoughts when they hoped "that images and handset specifications will start leaking out within the next few months. "
