Instagram for Android Sign-Up Page Live, Android App Dropping "Soon"
Instagram has more than 27 million subscribers on iOS alone, and co-founder Kevin Systrom has promised that the Android app will be "even better" than its iOS counterpart. How? Maybe it'll somehow improve the indoor shots on my Galaxy Nexus with its magical algorythms. Hey, one can dream, right?
It's not just the photo editing capabilities that have folks crowing about Instagram for Android (for that you can download apps like Lightroom, Retro Camera or Camera Zoom FX). No, what really entices folks is the network, which is like Flickr but for mobile devices. Even Obama is using it for his 2012 presidential campaign.
Here's your awesome Instragram photo of the day: Never fear, soon enough Instagram for Android will allow you to boast retro pictures of a similar sort.

Thanks for your contribution. I agree, Molome is an awesome app with many of the functions of Instagram -- and even a a few functions Instagram doesn't have. I think the hype surrounding Instagram is mainly because it has been so hot on iOS, and according to the CEO, the Android app is going to be even BETTER. Still not quite sure what that means, but I certainly need a better camera app for my Android. Molome looks like the perfect fit (for now).
Why give so much importance to Instagram? An application that only care about IOS and now that they can not climb more is when decide to come to Android. For some time there are applications for our equipment which the same benefits. An example of these is molome (http://bit.ly/yp8o1h) with which you can add effects to your photos and share in their social network, facebook and twitter. We must give more support to applications that were born to our Androids instead of seeking to be a clone of IOS.
