There's no denying that the selection of awesome games for your mobile device are getting better and better as the months go by, and every once in a while a game like Angry Birds comes out that is so addicting, so fun, yet so simply that literally millions of people want a piece of it. One of those games is Temple Run, and I'm VERY happy to report that this insanely popular IOS game will arrive on Android in February. For those of you that don't know Temple Run, lets just say that this game has single handedly decreased productivity in schools, universities, and at companies across the world, and will continue to do so with its much anticipated Android release!

This game is currently getting 500,000 downloads PER DAY in the iPhone app store and is already at 20 million downloads since it's release in August. The app is free, but you can pay (optional) real money in game to unlock specific abilities. With 7 million daily users, it's safe to say that this game could actually be the next Angry Birds in terms of users, downloads, and popularity, and I for one can't wait to welcome this awesome title to the Android market.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the game, check the video below for some gameplay footage.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the title has been delayed until end of March.
