Just Wednesday we saw a picture leaked to Android Central of what appeared to be the next in the myTouch 3G line of phones, the myTouch 3G HD. Yesterday, it seems the same tipster leaked a different photo of the phone to TmoNews, this time of the back of the device. It doesn't really strengthen the idea that this is T-Mobile's HSPA+ device, but some additional details about the phone were able to be gathered.
TmoNews didn't really add anything to the story other than the photo besides their opinion that the myTouch logo on the previous rendering will likely be replaced with T-Mobile branding at launch time.
Phandroid analyzed the image and came to the conclusion that the phone, assuming that these images are real, has some nice features:
Above the door (which has the small version of the MyTouch 3G logo on the bottom of it) you can find the protruding camera with what looks to be an LED flash to the left and the speaker on the right. That’s all that we can gather from this right now, obviously, but it’s always good to see an unannounced product come together at more angles than one.
In defense of the validity of these leaks, Engadget noted that "considering that the Vibrant isn't a member of the myTouch line, T-Mobile's overdue for a refreshed non-QWERTY Android device in that segment of the market."
