I not sure if its just my Eris or what but the phone is slow when trying to get the keyboard to landscape. Are there any rumors if they are going to try to fix that?

hopefully if/when we get eclair that will be improved. As for when or even if we'll get eclair, your guess is as good as mine. Don't hold your breath. I have a post of my own about my problems with better keyboard called "better keyboard problems"

I don't have an Eris, but I am quite sure that a higher Android version should fix this problem. Hopefully you'll get a higher version soon.
