I am having serious problems making payments for apps using the Google Checkout. This has greatly soured my first experience of Android apps.

Where's the problem? Can you describe it a bit? Is there an error message?

Yes, there is an error message saying that the details I put in are incorrect. When I click on SAVE, I get the error message - "There were errors in the information you provided".

I have double and triple checked the information I entered. I have tried using a VISA debit and VISA credit card. No joy! A Google search on 'Google Checkout' suggested frequent problems with this payment service.

Sorted! I had not opened a Google Checkout account.

Yeah, it's kind of complicated to place a purchase
