Newbie info please

Hi. Am i right in saying that the Android Market site on the mobiles is far more detailed than what is in the online Site ? Should have my Desire in the next 2 days, got as much info as possible but when it comes to how i transfer apps and what i do with them / find them on the mobile etc, i am a complete novice, any tips or where to look for Basic help ?, i have the feeling that the new phone manual will be like a dictionary and a lot of info to take in  , last phone was a Sony Ericsson C905, great phone for pics but i need more on the apps side and online side. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Tim.

The android market is very lacking in my opinion. When I look for apps or want to know whats new, I browse the apps section of this site. Its much easier and has more info. Then if you want to download an app, either scan the QR code (square looking bar code), or click the market link (must be on your phone). A good bar code scanner app is called Barcode Scanner. Also get the AndroidPit app for your phone.

Guys,
Just check this awesome Mobile Tracking app I just get downloaded from market. I searched on internet and got the link. A must for every droid. The most amazing app in this app is that you can get the thief's no. and can call him saying to return my cell...Hehehehe!!!! I tried by putting my gf's no. in my droid and she was too amazed by this. Here's the info about that app: try search "SafeorSorry app" in google!!!
Highly recommended!!!
