This June has many rumors pointing to it for awesome released, both in hardware and software. So if you are planning on updating your contract or switching to an newer device, i advise you to wait till the end of June, as we should be seeing some major developments in the coming month.

However, Sprint got their version of Android 2.1 on the Hero not that long ago, so who knows.

yeah your right Taiwan just got there's and usa just before that so Europe should be next. But you have to ask yourself how long have we been waiting... Too long if you ask me.

Apparently, lots of HTC Heros in Europe have already been completely updated. Have you received the first part yet? The update is supposed to be two parts. I also heard in a story a couple of weeks ago that there was one specific carrier in the UK that had some problems with the update due to some weird actions on their part. Maybe that was 3UK...
Take a look at HTC's UK support page a couple entries down.
