Market Trash

One thing I hate about the android market is when I want to browse the latest apps, 1 out of 3 of them are a theme or call image or ringtone or such. It really clutters up the "apps" section of the market, whether your looking for entertainment apps or even things such as tools. I know you can't stop them from putting there apps in an inappropriate category, but why not make a category for these things. You could have an apps, games, themes, media (call images and such) category. Then at least when browsing the apps most of them would be apps. Some would still put things such as the latest model images in the apps category, but most would put them in the right category (since people looking for themes are more likely to download themes). What do yall think?

Honestly, I love the idea. It makes me wonder why it hasn't been thought of before. A big fault as well is people who release a new version of the app as a whole new app, instead of updating. Really annoying.

Your idea sounds solid.

My experience with updating apps is that even a small update that goes up in version at all will push your app to the top of the new apps again as if it's a new app. And you can't update an app without increasing the version number. So it's really a market issue, than developers.
