sending mp3 songs to other phones using bluetooth

hello,
can anyone tell me how can i send mp3 files to other phones? must i download an app ( some sort like hoccer ) in order to be able to send it?

it really depends what phone your sending it to, some phone have trouble receiving mp3s..but yea u can try hoccer, bump, Bluetooth transfer, but with these apps... the other phone your sending it to has to have the same app

im using moto milestone and the problem is not the other phone but mine.. i couldnot find the option to send songs through bluetooth.. does this means that i could nt send it to non-android phones which could nt dwnload those apps...?

It's hard to say. What apps have you tried so far?

What kind of phone are you trying to send it to?

I have heard that some people have problems with certain apps, and that others work for them. Others say that they can do it best without any extra app to facilitate the file swap.

Thinking more about it, someone else was asking about an app to send pictures over their Xperia X10 earlier. I think it was Riz. "EStrongs file manager" worked in that case, so maybe you should try that.
