To buy apps.. you need to setup a Google checkout account.. while in the market app hit the phones menu button then click on help to learn more.

What country do you live in, Singapore? Australia? Can you see any pay apps available on the market at all?
If not, then it may be because paid apps are not yet available in the Android Market in your country. Rooting your phone is not going to let you see/download paid apps from the Android Market as far as I have ever heard. Also, rooting (which you may want to do some research on) is a task only for those who understand the risks. The risk being that you may ruin your phone, rendering it useless as anything other than a paperweight. Most all of the methods for rooting require a good knowledge of software code, plenty of patience, and the ability to EXACTLY follow directions.

Some apps can be purchased via the apps website. Also there are other markets like http://slideme.org/ that you might try.

I'm not saying you are wrong, just that I have never heard that before. Khairo, if what you say is right, and the man in the video was telling the truth, then rooting should allow him to see the paid apps. Rooting is still a very serious endeavour, especially if it is someone's first time.

Hello M8 , if this can help.....you can install Universal Androot, it's an application that you can find it in the market, just few clicks and you rooted and when you change your mind you can un-root any time you want. Or you can look in the website ''the unlockr.com................for any help, Cool isn't it?!!. If you want payd applications go to www.4shared.com and get what you looking for ''for free'' (don't forget to write .apk after the name of the app).
