Motorola Droid — Best setting for

crystal sound on 2.1 update 1 Europe? Sound on calls just HORRIBLE. Thanks.

Are you asking what the best volume setting for good quality (crystal clear) sound is when talking on the phone? What is 1 Europe?

Sorry for the confusion. The 1 belongs with Update.
Europe is where I live and bought the phone.
In the Call Settings section of Settings, first submenu is CrystalTalk settings to optimize Audio Profile during calls,you can choose Clear or Crisp etc... I do get a terrible echo during calls to anything and worse of all when talking to my husband who also owns a Moto Milestone then the problem is multiplied by 2.

I don't have a Droid, so I'm not sure what CrystalTalk is, but if it is an app, then it could be that the app just doesn't work right, or only works with phones that have the same app installed.

If it isn't an app, then I would disable any of it's features (go to default call sound settings), and see how the call quality is without using the app's help. Let me know how it goes.

i don't think anyone can give you "the best settings for crystal talk". In the german part of the forum we discussed this and there were ten people with ten opinions.
I use the "normal" setting and don't have any problems! The only recommendation i can give you: try the several settings
