Does Android OS 1.6 that we see on the Apad (an Ipad equivalent) allow on screen drawing for marking up PDF documents?

Do you mean drawing little lines and writing letters with a stylus or using your finger?

I think it may depend on the screen technology and software support for the funtions. I think that the touchscreen would also have to be resistive if you wanted to use a stylus. Capacitive touchscreens require some sort of conductive material to detect input.

I don't think that the touchscreen on a lot of phones is really meant to act like a mouse, in terms of holding your finger down and being able to draw precise and curvy lines and write in your handwriting, unless specially programmed to do so. Does the iPad PDF reader have that feature?

Even if it did have that ability, the touchscreen would have to be pretty damn good I think to get the kind of precision you may be after.
