I use Ubuntu 9.04 LTS (dual booted w/ Xp) on my laptop and Mandriva 2010 Powerpack (dual booted w/ Win 7) on my Home Theater/Gaming rig.

I guess I'm the only one that uses Linux.. I thought many Android users would since its the OS that Android is built on.

I tried it once, but that was a couple years ago. I still use Windows XP for my gaming and most of my work. Can you play all the same games on Linux as you can with Windows? That was a big concern for me, as I am a huge computer gamer when I have the time.

That's why I dual boot my systems.. I mainly use Win 7 on my gaming rig.. and Linux seams to run smoother on my older Laptop.

I had 10.4 LTS on my laptop but with only 512MB ram it was a little less stable then the 9.04 LTS so I went back.

I find that I don't have all the "Windows OS" headaches with Ubuntu..
I am looking at getting a new Laptop real soon; and when I do I install 10.4

I believe he speaks English fluently. Many Germans speak English, as it is the international language. Good luck understanding German without a translator. Luckily, German shares many words with English, and many others are homonyms.

Hey i also use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, but i think 9.04 was not an LTS Release.
I do not use Windows for about 6 years now and i don't miss it ;)
