New screen surround

Due to me buying a bike mount that turned out to be utterly crap, I now have a Desire with some scuff marks on the metal screen surround. I've done a bit of looking on the web for a replacement, but not much joy. Anyone got any ideas where to get one?

Sorry to hear about the bad purchase, I hope you can return it, and I'm glad your phone's screen didn't break.I would suggest contacting HTC and asking what it would cost for them to ship you a new cover. Is it the battery cover that is scratched, or something else? Maybe post a picture of the scratch and how bad it is. Have you considered maybe buying a case/cover for it instead?

my htc has a problem actually it has been thrown by a kid and its screen has damaged and not showing something but some time its showing so friends tell me what to do with it ?

Do you have a Nokia or an HTC phone? Or both? Are you asking about the Nokia because you are using it as a replacement until you get the HTC fixed?

Whose kid threw your phone and broke it? I'd take the problem up with the parents of the child first and ask them what they are willing to do to cover the damages their child caused. If that doesn't work, your best bet is likely to contact the manufacturer and ask if they can ship you a new screen. Make sure you are getting all you need, which is likely the glass and the display panel underneath. Or look for one on eBay...
