Hi everyone,
I am new here and have just purchased myself a nice Archos 5 Internet Tablet. I am wanting to know if I am able to download Apps from the androidpit site onto my device. I have the AppsLib installed as the default Archos Apps store, but is very limited.
If anyone could help that would be AWESOME! Thanks

I don't believe archos tablets have the google android market, there is an issue about meeting google specs for a phone. But you could try a few other sites: slideme.org and getjar.com

I use Slideme to download apps onto my Android tablet.

Jeremiah and Jay are both right. Your tablet is not up to Google's requirements for an Android Handset, so it doesn't have access to the market unfortunately. That may be changing soon though, so keep your eyes open.
