N1 random rebooting problem

N1 random rebooting problem created on Aug 16, 2010 4:15:26 AM (via AndroidPIT app)
after the OTA 2.2 update my nexus one randomly reboots for no apparent reason. Some times the reboots go in a cycle and some times it happens once. When it's goes in a rebooting cycle i need to take the phones battery out of the device for 5 min and then turn it on and hope that it doesnt reboot soon. I cant really figure out why the reboots occur. I did a factory reset thinking a app was making the problem but the reboots continued. Im thinking to contact htc for repairs. Does any one know anything about this problem? thanks

Do you have an "app/task killer" installed on you phone. I have read that those might be causing the problem. Uninstall it and if you still have the problems, call HTC and ask for a replacement, or a fix, or whatever they recommend.

i dont have one, i never did. i'll be in contact with htc and i'll post what they said.
