PingChat! FOR ANDROID! (BBM-ish app)

I've installed this and it's great - i can finally 'whatsapp' all my friends and family (all of whom own iphones!!)...

The only thing is, it seems to save all my photo and video chats into phone storage. I've got a HTC Desire with the latest updates - Froyo 2.2 and I've tried Pingchat! on my phone and also moving it to my sdcard and running it from there. It still eats up my phone storage!

How do you set it to save chats into the sdcard?

Help much appreciated. I have to keep clearing all chats every few days otherwise!

From what I understood, the developer has to release an update for the phone that allows the user to choose where the app will be installed.

It has, and i've installed it on my sd card but it still stores messages and photos in my phone's memory! Anyone know if there are any fixes for this?
