HTC Droid Eris — alarms rarely work

alarms rarely work
created on Sep 29, 2010 3:24:49 AM
I have had my Droid Eris for a few months. And I have my alarms set to go off, same time everyday. They worked at first , but now they rarely work . I went back to settings and deleted the alarms. And still no luck. Has anybody else had this problem? If you have please help.

I had the same problem on my moto Droid on 2.1 but it seemed to stabilize on 2.2. try downloading "alarm clock plus v2". its basically the 2.2 version and for me it was how I dealt with my alarm instability.

If you go into the app manager, and click on the Alarm, there should be an option to clear data, which I believe will uninstall the app. I don't know if it can be found on the Android Market again afterwards. IfJrod W's suggestion doesn't work, you can always try a factory data reset, which will delete all the apps and information stored on your phone (but not on your microSD card.)

Another factor in the alarm not working could be other apps on your phone.. like an app killer or other like app.
