is there an app out where I can download movie with or on?

I know that the Samsung Galaxy S/Tab devices are getting some sort of app which allows users to download movies and watch them in real-time. Not sure about anything like that for other devices. I kind-of doubt it since they were touting it a lot and saying how big of a step it is.
