Problems downloading from Market?

I'm in Scotland and having problems downloading from Android Market-anyone else?

Yes! I am as well, been getting nothing but 'Download unsuccessful' on everything, tried purging all cache and data on the market apps and services and, nope, still not working.

Nothing rooted here, no weird apps installed, and I am also in Scotland.

Will leave this to resolve itself, and put this down to some form of server issues on Andriod / google side before I even consider factory resetting this recent purchase.

Edit: Note the web is behaving absolutely fine here, all data otherwise than app downloads are flying, google earth, internet youtube, etc..

Suspect there's pre-update pushing of info going on somewhere, some significant updates coming onstream anyone?

All sorted, must have been a server issue.

Those issues seem to happen about once every month or two it seems, usually (as you suggested) when a change for the Android Market is pushed out (for some phones). However, sometimes it is just a problem with the servers or something, and doesn't correspond to an updated Android Market.
