Phone Book Entries

Hi All, new to Androidand smart phone.
How do I enter people into my phone book? do I need some software?

Well, you can do it manually one-by-one, or if you are coming from a smartphone, you may be able to import a contacts file onto the handset over your google account. A third option is to import all your contacts from your SIM card onto your phone.

#1 Go to Contacts / menu / new contact and fill out the information for your contact, and when done with each contact, hit "Done" at the bottom to save the contact.

#2 Depending on how your contacts were previously stored, there are different ways.

#3 insert your SIM card into your phone, go to contacts / menu / import contacts, and it will import the contacts from your SD card.
