There was another post with a person having the same problem: http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/forum/thread/414139/market-app-not-working
I'm not sure if you can/how re-install the market. Hope this post helps. |

I was also having similar problems I think yesterday or the day before, as well as today. You could go into settings, applications, manage applications, and select Market. Clearing the cache may fix it for you, but I can't be sure. I haven't tried it yet personally.
I will say that I started experiencing these problems a day or so after my phone was updated to the new Android Market.

I heard yesterday or the day before that there was a market update going out, but it was said it was a security update, which doesn't sound like it will fix out problems. Then again, you never know...

how's the problem douglas?did you cured yours already?
another question..what happens if i factory reset my phone?what are the hazards or tips to do before doing so? because i noticed another problem.. i have an internal memory of 200mb and i added all my installed apps they sum up to only 33mb only! i dont know why it says my remaining memory is 49mb...i wonder where the other space went...thats another reason i want to reset my phone...i think my phone's gone crazy LOL |

I haven't had any market crashes recently, but I don't know if I got the update already or not.
A factory reset will delete any information stored on the internal storage, such as contacts and apps, from what I remember. Photos and videos should not be affected, assuming they are all stored on the microSD card. The Android OS is installed on the internal memory, if I remember correctly, so that is likely why you see less space than advertised.

No.. you will not loss your OS.. it will reset it to new condition... like when you first got it.. however it will retain any upgrades.
