judging from the comments on the app here, it doesn't have an offline mode. MapDroyd is a map/GPS app which works offline, but doesn't have navigation service.

I've been looking for a an app that would let me pre-load map material and then use it offline for navigation.
As Douglas said, there really isn't anything like that available on the Market right now. There is MapDroyd, but it's got some annoying glitches (or at least had them when I used it) |

Sometimes it likes to place me at this street corner all the way across town, even with a clear and unobstructed view to a very large portion of the sky. Very annoying sometimes to say the least...

that's not true that there is no alternative. Did you tried Locus?
true is that ih have no full navigation but works completely offline with many functionality as bonus! |
