Motorola Droid — wifi hotspot for moto droid?

reece carter	wifi hotspot for moto droid? created on Feb 8, 2011 8:30:35 PM (via AndroidPIT app) Been wanting this capability since its advertisement on one of the newer phones and thought I would have to wait until I got a newer phone. There is an app on the market called PdaNet which should do it for you. Let me know if that doesn't work. Mod justJay	RE: wifi hotspot for moto droid? created on Feb 11, 2011 10:07:07 PM (via AndroidPIT app) PDAnet is not a "WiFi" solution.. but it is a wired "using you usb cable" solution that basicly has the same end result.. it gets your computer online (tethered) with your phone's data plan. If you want a "WiFi" solution on the Motorola Droid you will need to "Root" our handset, then You will be able to install "Wireless Tether" free on the Android Market. ----- Download AndroidPIT's AppCenter!
