It looks like the 2.2 Froyo update for the Milestone has been delayed based on the latest news coming from Motorola. It's questionable whether it's coming to come out at all and it depends on the specific region. In the meantime, I can only suggest rooting your phone and installing a custom ROM version of 2.2.
