Skype not working

I managed to install Skype on my phone but can't sign in even the username / password are correct and Internet is on. The screen showed "Signing in" even after 10-15mins. I have switch off my phone then switch on again, it still does not work. Anyone knows why?

What country are you currently in? Also, have you tried connecting through Wi-Fi, or through the 3G network?

I had the same problem when i were in France I tried to connect from both WIFI and 3G none worked i uninstalled it. Now i am trying to install it but it didnt work.

i have exactly the same problem... iam at home in Germany, using O2... :-(

I am having the exact same issue on my Moto Defy after I updated to Jelly Bean... Whatsapp is not working for me either. I have tried wifi and 3G. Everything else works just fine, but these two do not work at all... Whoever has the solution, please, post it
