Yes I have the same table and the same problem.

I think we need to get root access to delete the market and reinstall it but I still dont know how.

ON the other hand can you see flash video directly from the website???

I can not and I dont know why??

Well still a lot of thing to solve with this MID.

Keep in touch

I can't say anything about the build quality of the app market on that tablet, but I would say that it likely is connected to a third-party chinese app database. Your tablet does not come with the Android Market pre-installed, and because of that, you will not be able to access the Android Market.

Instead you are forced to use third-party app stores. I would recommend AndroidPIT's App Center. It has many of the same functions that the Android Market does, including browsing for apps on our market from your PC, and installing them onto your device from there.

I just got 3 of these devices. I am having the same problems as you, plus more. I can't access the google android market. The screen capture doesn't work. I can get on cnn.com and view a small news flash video, but it's so choppy and laggy, it's not worth watching. I have to push icons 2 or 3 times to get them to go. I put a movie on it and there is distortion in light areas. The same movie plays flawlessly on my other android devices. If I had only bought one device I would just throw it away, but I bought 3, so I would like to know if there are any answers for this. I have asked the seller about these problems but no answer yet. Please let me know what you find out!

The link is working so you can download it from the link that I wrote.

Yes you just have to download the file, decompress on the root of the sd card ( no inside to any folder) and from the epad install the flash file, and should work well. did you do that?

Hi, the best is that you change the ROM which is like the operating system.

Go to this website

http://techknow.freeforums.org/roms-f87.html

donwload this rom: WM8650_Android2.2_1.2.2_20110409 *LATEST*

descompress it and copy all the files in the root of the sd card. then turn off the table put the card and turn on the table (with full battery) then wait some 5 min and you will have a new and better operating system.

For more detail read that forum.

Good luck

Please download the file from below address:
http://www.0755-sg.cn/m009s_en_update.rar
to another computer, then unzip the file, it will create a file: "m009s_en_update.apk".
Copy the file "m009s_en_update.apk" to a micro sd card, and then do as belwo:
1. turn on your android tablet pc, and then insert the micro sd card into
the tablet.
2. press the icon "File Browser" on the desktop, and then press icon "SD",
you will see the file "m009s_en_update.apk" in the file list.
3. press the file "m009s_en_update.apk", it will show "Replace application",
press "OK". and then press "install".
4. after several seconds, it will be installed, and will show "Application
installed", press "Open" or "Done", then App market will be changed in english."

Works like a charm! Cheers

Just got this device. Did you resolve your issue? Mine is frequently locking up. Hoping to find something to make it more stable.

I did install the above linked APK and had no problems. Sounds like you have experienced the same lock ups as me. I would force a shutdown and try again after reboot.

I want to get GMAIL and the Android Market to run on it if possible, but for now I would just be satisfied with getting the 3rd part market to work in English.

Dolphin Browser HD is available from the App Market, I use that browser on my Android phones and it is by far the best browser. Seems to run better on the 8650 than the default browser does.

Actually I just bought the same tablet and the workaround is quite simple once you figure out how. First download the Android market app from here http://www.multiupload.com/2TRUW4L630 the set it up and register for account...close app. Second download the Facebook App from here http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/apk/facebook Install the Facebook app and logon.....then run the Android market app and then your in like Flynn. Also try the Amazon.com app store...some great apps as well...get that here http://amzn.to/getappstore Hope this helps..!!

Anyone who wants to update their tablet to the uberoid rom here is the step by step instructions.
I have done many of these tablets and. I have enclosed my instructions below
and the link to the files from my website.

Follow these directions exactly:

Make sure your tablet is off.
Remove the SD Card.
Download the V9 Final ROM file to your PC from my site. Make sure you know
where to find it after it downloads:

I have uploaded the rom to my own website and it should
download very quick for you. Here is the link to my site
http://creativeconceptcomputers.com//downloads/public/WM8650.7z save it to
your desktop and get winrar to unpack the zip file at
http://rarlab.com/rar/wrar41b4.exe
Insert the SD Card into the media reader on your desktop PC.
The SD Card will now show up as a drive letter on your PC's File Manager,
just like C:\ except with a different letter assigned.

Every computer will be different. Let's just say that on your PC it is G:\.
Right click the drive letter of the SD Card (G:\). A pop-up menu appears.
Select "format" and format the card to Fat32.
Now, using a program like winzip or winrar, extract the ROM file that you
downloaded to your PC earlier to a new folder on your desktop
.
After it has extracted, it will have these folders:
firmwareinstall
Changer_files
and these 3 files on it:
changer.bat
wmt_scriptcmd
Universal_Uberoid_WM8650_v9.1.2.txt

Using your PC mouse, double click the "changer.bat" file. A pop up screen
appears.
Type in RT3070 and hit "enter" (this enables WiFi support)

Select the option number that corresponds to your tablet and press enter.
( I found option 27 to work on most wundermedia wm8650 ) if that dont work
run it again and choose option 2 (if that dont work,keep trying differnt
options until you get the right one) if that one hangs on the option
you selected, you will just have to keep running the changer and selecting a
different option number until you get it right. Make sure that after it does
boot that the touchsreen does in fact work.

(Please, if you are trying multiple options, just remember to try options
only for the size tablet you have.
For instance, if you have a 7 inch tablet, try only options
1,2,7,8,9,11,12,13,16,20,21,23,25,26,27,28,29,30,31, and 32.

After you select your option number and hit enter, the changer.bat will ask
you if you want to install the ROM on your SD Card hit y (yes) and if you
want your SD Card formatted. Answer "NO" since you already formatted it
earlier, let the program finish running completly and it will tell you when
its done.
Now safely remove the SD Card from the PC media reader.

Insert the SD Card back into your tablet and turn it on.

it will show a progress bar on the botton, when it's done it will tell you
to remove the sd card , (don't remove card until it says to) when you do
the tablet will reboot
.
Select the wmtlauncher when it comes to options screen and set as the
default and thats all there is to it.

This should only take a few minutes to boot the first time. Make sure that
after the tablet is up and running , that you reformat the sd card in a
computer again before you put it back in your tablet for storage.

Main features:
* Live Wallpaper Support! ("butterfly" live wallpaper included!)
* HoneyComb styled launcher, framework and icons
* Extreme WM8650 compatibility (60 models +!)
* Customizable ROM, make it even more LITE for example (see CHANGER 'x' for
more info)
* 100% Rooted
* Audio Boosted
* Memory cleaning boosted
* Memory read/write boosted
* Lite version, stripped away many apps
* Tries to support as many languages as possible
* Real Google Market (v3.1.3)
* Real working YouTube

Hi David,

After several tries I succeed to update my tablet with Uberoid as you described. The number for me that worked is nr 13. Everything is working perfect except I have no sound. I tried all the other numbers, but only with nr 13 my touch screen works.
Is there a way to get my sound fixed. I think I checked every item in the settings, but no result.

My tablet has following specifications:
- WonderMedia WM8650
- Android Version 2.2
- Kernel 2.6.32.9-default
- build nr: generic-eng2.2 froyo ver1.5.5-19700101.125959

- Model: Bruneau - PI 6040H
- Type MID00-VB

Thnx.

My 10 and 12 year old's paid for there own MIDs from E bay. While I warned them the product might be trash it was all they wanted to spend so they could have an eBook reader and play apps. Every one who bought one knows, there crap. Or should I say were crap.

I applied the ROM you offered and like magic they're fully functioning. I mean to say there are still no Nook, IPad, Kindle, ect. but heck, "They Work Great" Having Angry Birds pre-installed was a nice touch.

Mega thanks!!! I would like to re-post this information to some of the other groups I saw with the same problem (Giving you complete credit)

Please reply with permission to do so... and again Thanks...

You flashed the market? Or did you install an APK? Try installing the APK file and see if you get an error. You can get the apk from here:

i need help with my tablet too....i am new to this site and i'm not sure where to post.

Okay here is the full story, I had a 10.2" Zenithink Zt-180a epad that was for my daughter who loved it, it worked enough to make her happy & then one day it would not power on, so i took it apart and there was something missing. Can anyone tell me what it is? i have circled the problems..
BUT don't quit reading yet!
I since then bought a used 7" WM8650 MID tablet that would only work if it was plugged in, as soon as you unplugged the charger it would power off automatically. I finally got it to work without it being plugged in BUT a few days later.... it wont even turn on anymore. It just has the Red Charging light. is it worthless now too? hoping to get one of these fixed.. Thanks for reading...and i will attach some pictures, one of the 10.2" tablet motherboard issue... and another of the 7" wm8650 Tablet that i need to figure out what exact tablet it is it does not vibrate and has a gray button with black arrow. Light is red when charging and green when powered on without charger. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

It sounds like you're dealing with a hardware issue. Is there any warranty on your device? Does the place where you bought it offer customer service? I would definitely bring it in so someone can take a look.
