2.2 update for galaxy S

is there a update available in India?

Yes i am usein the 2.2.1 its good. i tried the beta version of 2.3.2 but its got bugs so rolled back to 2.2.1.

But hey u gotta to root ur phone first, as update is not on kies yet, your warrenty becomes void if u do so. but its cool.

Dont forget to take a backup of your datafirst , u will hav to use apps like 'my phone explorer'.

if you take a backup in kies and upgrade it will not recognize for you to put the data back.

It is not officially announced, but one division of Samsung said that they plan on releasing the gingerbread update in their region by the end of the month. However, it is starting to look less and less likely...
