help please

Hello can anyone help me. I keep trying to download an app for my HTC hero but keep getting message saying no Android phone with my account.I'm not very bright when it comes to phones computers etc... thanks

Have you synced your phone with your google account? Do you have a google account? To access the Android Market and download apps, you have to have a google account and have your phone connected with Google's servers through the account.
