Browser download

Hi, I'm new to Android and have just bought a X220 tablet. The browser seems to have given up the ghost, asking for a forced close all the time.
Question: Is it possible to download a new browser (Opera or something similar) to a USB stick using a PC
and then uploading it to the Android tablet?
Any help much apreciated.
PS. Android 2.2 A1cs tablet from Amazon.

Why do you want to install it on a USB device first? You can use the Androidpit App Center as well. You can download it here: App Center

Thanks, I've just found that out. Opera appeared, as if by magic, on the tablet after I tried to download it on my laptop.
Aparently it works just like Kindle. Download or order on PC and it appears on the Kindle. Clever!
