When I try to download an application from the Android Market for my Samsung Galaxy Tab it fails with a message saying that "There are no Android devices associated with this account. I tried many things but all without success.

Please can anyone help resolve this problem

Hi, I'm pretty new to the android world myself, but as far as I know you should to activate your account from your phone. On mine (sony ericsson neo) it should be Settings > Account&Sync > Google.
Activate it with your google account or create a new one and you should be ok.

I said "it should be" because I have a similar problem but slightly more complicated and any help would be reallyyyy welcome:

I live in China and my phone has no "Google" account option anywhere!!! I have options to connect to the main chinese social networks and stuff, but not having google I cannot confirm my account on the market... Any suggestion???

I think for legal reasons the google market is not allowed in China. You could try finding a custom rom for your phone that has the google market on it. Or you could try other markets like AndroidPit's AppCenter: http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/download/app/de.androidpit.appcenter

First of all take the back up of your contacts and msgs then set the time seeting mode to 24hr then dial *#272*Imei# then choose XSG. The fone will reboot and market icon will appear on the scree.

unfortunatelly that doesn´t work in China. I tried on my Galaxy W... XSG doesn´t come up, only CHZ and CHN. Probably only with a custom Rom. untill now, couldn´t even succeed in rooting it. Tried all ways except Odin, but as Samsung here in China told me the latest firmware is coming up this week (C1), i want to try it first.
