I'm a beginner on Androids etc and I am getting a G1 soon. I want to get to download the Apps2SD app on the G1 so that I don't waste the internal memory on it. However, I’ve heard it blacks out the screen on Android 1.6 even if it is rooted....is this true or shall I risk it and root (using Androot) and install Apps2SD?
Also, what size memory card shall I get? I've got a lot of music and wouldn't mind putting a movie or some kind of video on it so would anyone recommend more than 8GB as I thought 8GB would be enough? Thanks.

You're welcome.. I use Xda Developers Website all the time.. in fact.. they also have an android app.
