How to update market?

I have Motorola defy and there was some problem with my android market.whenever i click on just in section market forced stop.so i delete market updates and now my android market is running well but the version is old.
plz tell me how to update that.Automatically this isn't happening as before market update itself.

Hi Johnsonkid,

welcome to AndroidPIT !

After deinstalling the market updates it takes some time and the updates will then be re-installed automatically.
Rebooting your phone may help to speed it up.
