Should I Root my Moto Defy with Z4root?

I have downloaded and installed z4root.Plz tell me should i root my phone and i have some question.

- can i able to update my phone to OTA froyo after root?
- can i unroot my phone?
- So after root I can remove T mobile apps and start up logo?

1. Yes, you will be able to install Froyo on your rooted Moto Defy

2.To fully restore the phone you will need to install the custom recovery before making changes (other than root), booting with recovery and performing a nand backup. Just select the backup/restore option.

3. Yes, rooting your phone will allow you to remove the T-Mobile apps and, I think, the start up logo as well.

thanks. i tried z4root but not working in defy. after few minute screen turns white and go back to main screen.
tried many time.
so now am not getting froyo OTA, plz tell after root froyo will be available over the air or i have to update it with some custom rom.
I dont want unofficial rom.
