Sprint but so far they've been unable to help. It's not that it doesn't work all the time, it doesn't work ANY of the time. I AM SO FRUSTRATED. Does anyone know how I could possibly fix this? At first I thought it was because I was holding the phone wrong, and then I thought it was because I was in a location that couldn't be tracked but now I am almost about to give up. And what really sucks is that I bought this Android phone specifically so I could use Google Maps and figure out where I was. Please help, I am at my wit's end. I need this phone to work so I can go to a friend's party tonight and not get lost. I can't believe I bought this stupid phone. I've heard people have similar problems with their Galaxies, maybe there's a similar solution? I really hope so.Keep on getting an error message. Tried calling

What this means for you: for now, simply make sure you have "Use wireless networks" checked in your Galaxy S's settings under the "Location & security" menu. It won't get you the most reliable, precise location you should be entitled to, but it's a start -- and next month's round of firmware updates should hopefully take us the rest of the way.
