LG Optimus Black — Battery Life — Android Forum

Battery Life

I'm not getting very good battery life on my LG Optimus Black. I notice that especially the gallery and maps apps seem to be sucking up a lot of juice. ANyone else have this problem?

How long do you get?

If I don't use my samsung galaxy s it will last a couple of days. If I do a lot of web browsing, sms and calls it only lasts a day. I keep a charger handy. Some users even have a spare battery.
Compared to my old phone the battery life is dreadful (but all it did was make text calls and short voice calls).. But considering how I use my current one I'm not too concerned.

Its pretty normal to have to charge your phone every day as modern smartphone take up alot of power esp. if you're running alot of apps. If you think your apps are taking up too much of you battery life, try using a program like advanced task killer to better manage your apps.
