T-mobile myTouch 3G phone - Mobile Network State Disconnected

Hi Everyone,

My T-mobile phone recently stopped connecting to my mobile network. I have a flat-rate internet contract with Vodaphone and can send/receive phonecalls/sms however the 3G internet connection is not working. When checking under settings>about phone>status it has:
network: Vodafone.de
mobile network type: HSDPA
Service: In service
Mobile network state: disconnected

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can fix this problem?

Have you tried going to Settings ---> Wireless and Networks ---> Mobile Networks and then clicking "Connect to Internet"?

Yes I have tried your suggestion. My phone is a bit different and the options are Settings>Wireless and Networks> Mobile Networks> Data enabled (I have 'checked' the box to indicate it be connected). There is also an option to select "Network Operators" in which I went through and selected Vodafone.de as the network.

Hi Everyone! My phone is now connected. The problem was that the Access Point Name (APN) was unable to set itself correctly and had to be manually entered under phone settings.

hi sonya , I have your same problem , how did you set it up (apn) to finally work ??

I just used 'reset to default' and that fixed the problem.
