Battery life is pitiful?

I've read that the battery life on the Thunderbolt is pitiful. Anyone know if the rumors are true?

First to start it is a decent battery but after i would say 3 or 4 months look forward to charging your phone 3 or 4 times a day and that is with little talk time

How many hours can the phone run on battery after a day of moderate use?
