Samsung Galaxy S2 — Charging on first day

Hi y'all, just bought the SGS2 and pleased as punch, wanna know a little thing about first day chargin', like if I'm supposedta charge the battery as soon as you get it and before you use it. Or am i supposed to let it drain and then charge it...what do you think is best for the battery? thanks!

you gotta let it drain until automatic shutdown then charge it for 8hours. only for the 1st time. it should make the battery long lasting.
