Samsung Galaxy S2 — Camera image is low quality

Hi guys,starting to use camera 2day for 1st time and images were very very low quality..updated camera firmware other day through samsung app started cameras up once i viewed the image in gallery and zoomed slightly was totally blurry. how do i change the camera resolution. and what else might be the problem?

Were you using a camera zoom at a very close range? That could also create blurry pix.
