HTC Evo 3D — Freezing on me constantly, what to do?

I am almost on a regular basis taking the battery out of this device and re-starting it after it has been sitting around doing absolutely NOTHING. No overheating, not in a call or running the camera or overclocking or whatever, and yet it still locks. I'm so sick of this! And yes, I have updated the phone.

do you still have warranty on it? This sounds like a Hardware failure...

That's what I was afraid of. I am still on warranty, though. Hope the folks at Sprint treat me kindly...haven't had such good luck with them in the past.
