playing. avi files

I have recently bought a tablet operating on android 2.2 and was wondering if there was an app to allow me to watch. aviation files

any ideas?

Hello Paul,
A very nice App is MoboPlayer.
In Connection with the ES File Explorer and an SMB Server maybe on your FritzBox (if you have one) it could view the avi or mp4 files without having them on the sd card

thanks for the advice, I've tried to download the app however the tablet I have (hannspree) has not got a licence to use Google's android market so they wont let me download it. Any ideas how to get around this?

Hi i had a similar problem with a viewpad 10S and received a "No phone associated with this device message". I was unable to find a solution so I sent the device back. In the meantime I have looked at the Hannspree SN10T1 and came across an application called "App Center (Hannspree)" and one called "App Center". This has a link

that allows the download of the .apk file. I assume this is the executable and when uploaded to the android tablet environment it allows download and payment with normal methods.

If this works for you please let me know because without access to Google apps any tablet is useless to me and I really would like to own a tablet.

You should be able to watch.avi files though mobo player. It is a nice app that actually does a lot for you. Check it out.

i have the hannspad and virtually every time i turn it on,my apps have vanished and I have to reload. any advice?
