According to this image from the Gorilla Glass website, the phone does seem to use Gorilla Glass.

Gorilla Glass has a unique composition that acts as a sort of armor.
The glass is placed in a hot bath of molten salt at a temperature of 400 degrees. Smaller ions leave the glass and larger potassium ions replace them, creating a layer of stress on the surface of the glass.
