Why don't you check out AndroidPITs markets place... I dont know what the problem is with your device but if you can access the web via Wifi you should be able to download everything from the AP app store with out any difficulties.

That sounds like a mistake with your account on the provider side. Have you tried giving them a call? They probably screwed up the regesteration of your device.

What provider are you on actually? That would be intresting to know... if you do call post wht they say... it would help to get a better handle how each provider deals with their customers.

And you also tried going settings - apps- google play- clear data and cache, force stop and reopening it to see if it loads?

If you haven't solved your problem yet, some sites allow you to download apps directly to a PC. I use umnet.com, and I got a PDF reader off it.

Oh, Okay, glad you told me
 I was using it because I couldn't access Google Play. That problem is fixed now so I won't use that site anymore. |

I don't think it a phone issue. Ills trying to access "google play alps" B'coz android alps Pitt did not have it yet. That page comes up and when I press "Install" a window comes up saying I don't yet have an account for this device... although it will auto load my email address password... grrrrr....
