New Market Version Keeps Uninstalling and Installing Apps Randomly

So I just got the new market version (which I hate by the way). I have a limited amount of space on my phone and all of a sudden the Market just started automatically updating all the apps that are on my phone. I deselected the automatic update, but it just keeps on doing it anyways! can anyone tell what's going on? i just want the old market back and none of this crap.

i think it's safe to say that the new market is a total failure all around. i have yet to hear someone who is actually happy about the way it works and looks. totally awful.

something is weird here cause i got the latest market update and it was totally fine. i like the new look. maybe its because i have more space on my phone. dunno.

I just heard that the new Android Market automatically initiates updates and downloads of all the Google services even if you don't want to have them. That is bound to clog up your memory. A lot of people are complaining about this auto download.

well, I can only agree with Jenny. I definitely experienced the whole auto download of a bizzlion Google apps without my explicit permission. I hate that because that exactly the reason i wanted to get an Android phone in the first place: it was supposed to give me total freedom and control. so it really makes me angry when Google tries to tell me what apps I NEED!

not sure if this helps but i just disabled background data and install apks manually

market is a pain in the butt you can also remove it completly using root explorer if you have rooted your android

or use titanium backup to remove it... or get a rom that does not have it installed
