Paid full or lite for free

Hi all!

Q: What app do you prefer: paid full versions, or lite for free?
I mean, how important for you is it to have the opportunity to test free?

Q: How often do you buy the application without testing of lite or trial?

Personally, I never buy an app without trying out the free version before. I think that's very important. When buying stuff from the AndroidPIT App Center, I sometimes rarely pay for the whole thing in full without trying out the lite version because of their 24 hour return policy. Anything that I get from the Google Market I always play around with before buying because of their ridiculous 15 minute return policy.

are you just curious or looking into developing some apps?

Oh i see. well, like i said having a lite version is always super important for me. That really helps me make my decision. Fromt the point of the developer, it's probably less of a money maker (although if i like something and i need the full version i'll buy it). I think it's about finding the balance between showing what the app can do in the lite version without giving the whole thing away.
