My friend gets 5GB with ePlus in Germany for just 20 euros! 20 EUROS! 5GB! No American plan can touch that! WTF?

Not only that but plans are more easily customize-able in Europe (or at least in Germany) and you can mix and match data and voice.

I read somewhere that China's data plan is so cheap that its actually cheaper for Chinese customers to roam with their plan than sign up for another plan when they're traveling!

My plan is even called "Flex" :)
