Sony Ericsson Xperia Play — Homescreen black space... what to do?

I'm having some problems with my widgets with my Xperia play. It was working fine till I tried to delet some dictonary apps I downloaded ( that never worked!) and now there just a blank space where the app icon was. I've tried deleting it again and even reinstalling it and deleting it but nothing happened. I can't put new icons there because it says there is no space free. Any suggestions?

Hmmm odd... one thing you could try would be to delete the homescreen cashe in your prefrences. That will probably take care of the problem but it will also rest the homescreen to the factory settings. I dont know what your homescreen looks like but it probably shouldnt be too hard to get it back to the way you want it. Hope it works out for you!
