HTC WILDFIRE dont know how to turn GO SMSM PRO on?!

I have an HTC WILDFIRE, I just downloaded the GO SMS PRO chat app and I have no i dea how to activate it!?
I first downloded it online on my computer, but it didnt show so i went online on my phone and it showed up as downloading but never apeared anywhere on the phone, Im new at this? how to I make it switch to useing that instead of the default one?

Did you download it through the Market or our App Center?

App Center:

Download the App Center to your phone by allowing downloads from 3rd parties in your settings. Go to Application settings and click Unknown sources to allow the downloads. Then just simply enter in www.androidpit.com in your phone's Browser and a download window should pop up. Once you've downloaded the app on your phone, you can log into your account on your computer and mark apps to be downloaded. Go to My Apps on your phone and click Synchronize and all the apps marked on the computer will be automatically downloaded to the phone.

My third party and unknown stuff is all on, I have downloaded other things, that have worked this one wont show up though, and when i go to the site it still just says starting download on the page. weird.

This might sound basic, but when you're downloading it, does the app show up in your notification center? You should be able to pull down that menu and open the app from there.
